How To Use — ListenX

Invite the Bot

Click the Invite button at the top of this page or use the link below. Select your server from the dropdown and grant the required permissions. ListenX needs permission to join voice channels and send messages to work correctly.

Join a Voice Channel

Before using any music commands, join a voice channel in your server. ListenX will follow you into whatever voice channel you are currently in. If you are not in a voice channel, the bot will prompt you to join one first.

Play Your First Song

Type /play followed by a song name or a direct YouTube / Spotify / SoundCloud URL. ListenX will search for the song, add it to the queue and begin playing immediately.

Control Playback

Use slash commands to control everything. Pause, skip, adjust volume, loop the queue, shuffle songs and more. All commands start with / — just type a slash in Discord to see the full list.

• /pause — pause the music
• /skip — skip to next song
• /queue — view the queue
• /volume 80 — set volume

Set Up Moderation

Grant ListenX the Manage Messages and Kick/Ban Members permissions to unlock moderation features. You can configure AutoMod settings, welcome messages, leveling channels and more using the setup commands.

Common Questions

Make sure you are in a voice channel before running /play. Also check that ListenX has the Connect and Speak permissions in that channel.

Check your Discord audio output settings. Also make sure the bot's volume is not set to 0 using /volume and that you have not muted the bot locally in Discord.

Yes. Invite ListenX to as many servers as you like. Each server has its own independent queue and settings. Premium is per-server or per-user depending on the plan.

ListenX supports YouTube, Spotify (via search), SoundCloud, and direct audio URLs. Spotify direct playback is available on Premium plans.
